- UNTIC(1) UNTIC(1)
-
-
- NAME
- untic - Print the contents of a compiled terminfo entry
- in human-readable form
-
- SYNOPSIS
- /usr/lib/terminfo/untic [term-name] [-f filename]
-
- DESCRIPTION
- Dump reads the compiled terminfo entry for the given
- terminal and outputs its contents in a reasonable
- representation of the terminfo entry which produced the
- file originally. The compiled entry is assumed to be in
- /usr/lib/terminfo/<c>, where <c> is the first character in
- the terminal's name.
-
- -f filename force untic to read the file filename
-
- If no arguments are given, the environment variables TERM
- and TERMINFO are used to find the terminal name and the
- directory where the compiled entries live.
